Shri R S Sodhi, age 56 years, is Managing Director of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (AMUL), which is India's largest Food Products organization with a turnover of Rs.23005 crores. GCMMF (AMUL) markets dairy and food products under the popular brand name "Amul", Asia's largest milk brand which is owned by 3.6 million milk producers of Gujarat. Shri R S Sodhi has more than 33 years of rich experience in Marketing and Sales function with GCMMF (AMUL). He has been instrumental in taking 'Amul' brand to dizzying heights that it has scaled today. Shri R S Sodhi has taken over as MD, GCMMF five years back and has taken GCMMF (Amul) on growth and has increased its turnover from Rs.8000 crores in 2009-10 to Rs.23005 crores (187 %) in 2015-16. Shri Sodhi is an alumni from the first batch of IRMA (Institute of Rural Management, Anand) - Batch of 1982. He is among the most eminent alumni of this prestigious Institution. He is B. E.
