At just 18 years old, Siddharth Dungarwal embarked on his entrepreneurial journey with a small retail store, laying the foundation for what would grow into a remarkable Rs 600 crore business now gearing up for an IPO within the next three years. Starting with retail, he soon ventured into trading and eventually manufacturing, consistently seizing opportunities in evolving markets.
In 2019, he took a bold step to relaunch Snitch, this time as a B2B brand—a space where his expertise truly shone. Under the Snitch label, the brand specialized in manufacturing and distributing high-quality apparel to retailers, carving a niche with its unique approach.
The turning point came with the onset of the pandemic in 2020. Faced with significant inventory challenges and a disrupted retail landscape, Siddharth made a bold move—he decided to go direct-to-consumer (D2C). Forgoing marketplaces like Myntra or Ajio, he chose to launch Snitch’s own website in July 2020. Starting with just 35 products, a makeshift warehouse, and a team of four, this decision proved pivotal. It not only allowed the brand to manage its inventory but also established a direct connection with consumers, laying the foundation for Snitch’s rapid growth.
Under Siddharth's leadership, Snitch capitalized on its "Made in India for the World" ethos, resonating with customers seeking stylish, locally made apparel. The brand gained national recognition in 2023 through its appearance on Shark Tank India, Season 2, where all five sharks vied to invest, further validating Siddharth's vision. By 2023, Snitch had secured additional funding, fueling its ambition to become the "Zara of India."
In July 2023, Snitch expanded offline, opening its first store in Bengaluru. Within eight months, the brand boasted 38 stores across India, exemplifying Siddharth’s commitment to quality and consumer-centric design. With plans to reach 100 stores by the end of 2025, Snitch is poised to become a household name in men’s fashion.
