Patralika Agarwal, CMO, Technosport

Marketing today is less about campaigns and more about building systems that compound over time. I work at the intersection of brand, culture, and growth, shaped by experience across both creative agencies and large consumer businesses. Early in my career, I worked with agencies like Ogilvy and JWT, building the craft of storytelling and large-scale campaign execution. I later moved brand-side into organizations such as IKEA and Reliance, where roles spanning loyalty, consumer insights, analytics, media, and brand communication exposed me to how marketing decisions operate within complex, multi-channel businesses. Those experiences collectively shaped a clear operating belief: sustainable growth comes from clarity, not excess, and from designing marketing as infrastructure rather than activity. Currently, as Head of Marketing at TechnoSport India, my focus goes beyond campaign delivery. I’m building a Marketing Centre of Excellence that integrates:
-Cohort-led brand and growth strategy
-Product and material truth in performance categories
-Culture, data, and creativity as one operating system
-Marketing that scales with the business, not ahead of it
I’m particularly interested in how activewear and sportswear brands evolve across different stages of performance and use, and how restraint, coherence, and trust become competitive advantages at scale.
Here, I write occasionally about what building brands from inside the system teaches you—especially the decisions, trade-offs, and tensions that rarely show up in decks.
