Nishit Gupta Director & Co-Founder, Kalki Fashion

Born in the fast and vibrant city of Mumbai, I went on to study Marketing at Monash University, Melbourne and started my professional career there at DBM Consultants. Following that I moved back to India to start my entrepreneurial career with KalkiFashion.com, which is an e-commerce Indian ethnic clothing retail venture. Next I went on to do MBA at ESADE Business School, Barcelona which sharpened my financial, economic and strategy side of business. Since 2014 I have been working in my family business at Kailpar and KALKI along side a very passionate team led by my father. My aim is to continue growing the company into a global benchmark for ethnic fashion by using technology, innovation along with emotion. I love to connect with start-up founders, retail innovators and high growth companies from different sectors as I enjoy the buzz, enthusiasm and the culture around these enterprises. Also in the future I wish to be around an incubator and be able to invest in ideas and people that would encourage creativity and accelerate seed level businesses.
