Darshan navigated three core challenges: transforming a legacy business through phased restructuring without losing its cultural soul; organizing an unstructured category using technology-driven transparency and quality systems; and balancing rapid national expansion with regional authenticity.
Darshan led a comprehensive transformation of the organisation, introducing professional governance, technology-led decision-making, AI-enabled demand forecasting, inventory intelligence and data-driven retail systems to a category traditionally driven by intuition. Under his leadership, Indian Silk House Agencies transitioned from a regional legacy player into a tech-enabled, omnichannel retail organisation with national ambition and global relevance.
