Ram has 15+ years of experience in the environment, energy and water management, across a
wide range of roles from regulatory/policy, to process engineering, operations, strategy
advisory, business development, business strategy, and product development and management.
Prior to Godrej, Ram was CEO of WiSH Energy Solutions, a renewable energy subsidiary of the
Enzen Group, where he was leading strategy, business development and overall P&L. He
previously worked as a consultant at Enzen’s Clean Energy & Environment Practice where he
was involved with energy optimisation projects for utilities based in the UK.
His work
experience also includes strategizing environmental management for PI Industries Ltd at
their flagship manufacturing facility in Gujarat and working on water treatment technologies
and developing policy and regulations for drinking water at the National Environment Agency,
Singapore. Ram completed his MBA in Strategy & Marketing from the Indian School of Business,
Hyderabad and his Masters in Environmental Science from the Singapore-Stanford Partnership,
a collaboration between Stanford University, USA, and Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore. In his spare time, Ram enjoys listening to and playing music and sports,
quizzing, reading, travelling and cooking. He is also a trained home brewer and consults
with various microbreweries in India.
