Lavanya Nalli is an Indian businesswoman and the vice-chairperson of Nalli Group of Companies, one of India's leading textile and fashion retail chains. She was born on June 10, 1978, in Chennai, India, and is the daughter of Ramanathan Nalli, the chairman of Nalli Group. Lavanya Nalli completed her education in India and the United States, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.After completing her education, Lavanya Nalli joined the family business, Nalli Group, in 2003, and worked her way up the ranks. In her current role as vice-chairperson, she is responsible for the company's strategic planning and growth, as well as overseeing its retail and online operations.
