Vineet Jain COO- Fashion and Retail, Reliance Retail

A passionate retailer. Obsessed with the customer. Driven by scale, transformation and execution. With three decades of experience across organized retail, I have had the privilege of building, scaling and transforming some of India’s most recognized retail businesses. My leadership journey has been defined by one constant — creating businesses that win with customers and deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
I currently serve as Chief Operating Officer – Fashion & Lifestyle Business at Reliance Retail, leading operations across the Fashion & Lifestyle portfolio. My mandate spans operational excellence, customer experience, omnichannel integration, business development, network expansion, asset productivity and building the next phase of sustainable and profitable growth. Prior to Reliance Retail, I was Chief Operating Officer at V-Mart Retail, where I led one of the most significant transformation journeys in the company’s history — scaling the business manifold, expanding its national footprint, strengthening profitability and driving large-scale customer, operational and digital transformation. Earlier, I spent 17+ years with Future Group, culminating as CEO – North India. I played a key role in building and scaling iconic formats including Big Bazaar, Food Bazaar and FBB, co-created Big Bazaar GEN NXT, and led the turnaround of businesses including Easyday and Big Apple. Earlier in my career, I was part of the founding leadership team at Vishal Retail (now Vishal Mega Mart), contributing to the creation of one of India’s pioneering organized retail businesses. I began my career across textiles and financial services, giving me a strong foundation in both business operations and finance.
