For over two decades, I have operated at the intersection of consumers, digital platforms, and large-scale monetization, building the ecosystems that define how modern India consumes content and transacts online.
Today, as Business Head – Entertainment [Digital] Revenue & Monetization at JioStar, I lead the commercial architecture for India's #1 OTT - JioHotstar Entertainment, translating massive viewer attention across India's living rooms into full-funnel business outcomes for brands through advanced AdTech, Connected TV (CTV) innovation, and content-commerce integration. Prior to JioStar, I spent 13+ years as part of Google India’s leadership team, where I hyper-scaled two multi-billion-dollar business units:
- YouTube India : Served as a primary monetization architect and Head of YouTube & Brand Advertising, shaping Video monetization at a critical inflection point as India became a Video First country. It was a privilege to have scaled YouTube to $1B business.
- Omnichannel & Enterprise Digitization: Built the Omnichannel Business from the ground up, advising CXOs across CPG, Technology, Retail, Auto, and BFSI on digital and AI transformation, doubling Google’s Ads share-of-wallet and scaling it into a $1B+ franchise.
My foundation blends classic brand building (Marico, Godrej) with digital platform engineering. Beyond revenue and P&L ownership, I am an active angel investor, mentor in the Indian startup ecosystem, and keynote speaker on AI & digital transformation (FICCI, CII, IGF, UNDP).
