Raghav Verma is an IIT Delhi graduate in Chemical Engineering (2010). He is co-founder of Chaayos, India's fastest growing chai startup, with 39 cafes across Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Chandigarh. At Chaayos, Raghav takes care of product development, training, quality, and technology. Chaayos is well known for serving more than 12,000 variants of chai including some innovations like Hari Mirch Chai and AamPapad Chai. Chaayos is funded by renowned American investor Tiger Global.
Prior to Chaayos, Raghav founded an online education firm PrepSquare that used analytics to empower learning in test preparation space. Prior to that, he worked with American management consulting firm Opera Solutions on various supply chain and analytics initiatives. Raghav is a bass guitarist and has played with professional bands in college. He is also an avid baker.
Raghav has been selected as one of the Forbes Asia "30 Under 30" in the Retail and E-Commerce Category in 2016. Chaayos has also been felicitated for multiple awards including "25 Most Promising Entrepreneurial Brands" by WPP, "Most Innovative Concept" by Restaurant India Magazine and "Greatest Startup of the Year" by DM Asia.
