Smrithi Ravichandran, Vice President and Head of Grocery at Flipkart has been with the platform for over 10 years now and is currently heading the Flipkart Grocery business. Prior to her current role, Smrithi was leading the Fintech and Payments business where she built the business from scratch in an e-commerce setup that brings its own set of challenges like changing the mindset of customers, stakeholders - both internal and external and the way of building the business itself. She played a key role in bridging the gap between aspirations and affordability and making e-commerce inclusive for all Indians. At present, under Smrithi’s efficient leadership, Flipkart Grocery is working towards making its e-grocery services available to consumers across every corner of the country. With a sharp acumen on the pulse and needs of Indian consumers, Smrithi is successfully driving the Grocery business that focuses on building affordability constructs and accessibility of e-grocery services for a wide consumer base.
