Abhiraj Bhal is the CEO and Co-Founder of UrbanClap.com. Prior to UrbanClap, Bhal worked for The Boston Consulting Group, where he had advised leading companies across Indonesia, Turkey and India on business strategy. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT-Kanpur and an MBA from IIM - Ahmedabad.

Bhal and his two friends, Varun Khaitan and Raghav Chandra, came up with the idea of UrbanClap with the ambition of creating a large tech business to solve a primary customer need in India. They realized how fragmented the local services industry in India was and the potential it holds, given the high demand.

With immense belief in the power of e-commerce, Bhal with the other two co-founders expect to scale UrbanClap tremendously by the end of this year by adding new service categories and expanding to more cities in the country.

Bhal likes to engage in fitness activities and spend time with his wife, Urvi.
